At around 9.15am, our Crouch End driver collects your dog from home. We can securely hold a key if you have already left for work.

Since 2009, our small, independent team has been giving the dogs of Highbury, Finsbury Park and Stoke Newington a first class day out in the countryside. Now we're coming up the hill to Crouch End, and to celebrate we'd like to treat your dog to a day out, on us.

We are not a crowded London park or a noisy indoor crèche. Capital is eight acres of secure countryside, that we call The Meadow, where dogs can run, ramble, play and relax with carefully chosen friends.
- Friendly small and medium dogs grouped by size, confidence and energy.
- Warm cabins, beds and blankets for naps or a little quiet time.
- Purpose built, air conditioned dog mobiles with GPS tracking and dash cams.
- Photos and videos of your dog sent throughout their visit, guaranteed to bring cheer to the gloomiest of days.

We head out
Your dog travels in comfort to our private countryside site, around 35 minutes from Crouch End.

They have a ball
Fields, friends, toys, sniffing, running and plenty of rest when needed. We send you pictures during the day.

We bring them home
Drop off is from around 4.15pm. Expect a hungry dog, a wagging tail and a beautifully quiet evening.

Do I need to be at home?
No. Many owners have left for work before we arrive. We can hold your keys securely and are covered by key holder insurance.
Is the free day really free?
Yep. 100% free.
Are free trial places always available?
Free Friday trial places are limited and subject to availability, so we recommend booking early. Our usual suitability checks also apply.
How much does it usually cost?
Our normal rate is £50 per day. If you live on one of the Crouch End streets we serve, we’ll charge just £35 per day, any day of the week, until the end of 2026, subject to availability on individual days. The £35 rate includes VAT, collection and return. There is no deposit and we invoice monthly.
Do I need to commit to fixed days?
You do not have to book a regular schedule, but we strongly recommend set days because popular days can fill up and ad hoc clients may miss out. If you do ask us to reserve a recurring day for your dog, we ask that you stick to that schedule. You can still request extra days through our app whenever space is available.
What if my dog does not enjoy it?
We will tell you. The trial is there to make sure day care is right for your dog as well as for us. There is no charge and no obligation either way.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Capital Dog Care is fully licensed and insured. Our licence holder is Seb Byrd and our licence number is M057890.
