The Meadow.
A calm, carefully supervised introduction to other likeminded pups, the countryside and a world beyond the four walls at home.
Confidence grows through good company.
Kindness, love and a little structure matter enormously. But helping a puppy feel calm and comfortable around other dogs is difficult to do at home.
That is why we created Puppy Day Care. Young dogs can play, explore and build social skills in a safe, carefully managed setting, with staff who understand when a puppy needs encouragement and when they simply need a nap.
Why Mondays and Fridays?
These are our quieter days, with fewer dogs and a more relaxed pace. We have found that this is the gentlest way for a brand new puppy to find their feet.
Puppies are welcome midweek too, but Monday or Friday is where we would usually suggest they begin.

Before the first visit, we agree a simple day plan covering food, naps, confidence and anything else your puppy needs.

When shall we start?
Puppies can usually join us from around 15 weeks, once they have completed their second round of vaccinations and waited at least ten days. Kennel cough vaccination is also required.
Not every puppy develops at the same rate, so the induction helps us decide whether they are ready. Puppies tend to gain the most from socialising between three and six months, then simply graduate to adult day care when they reach six months.
